Computing Home
The Computer Office is here to help support staff, students and visitors with their IT requirements and can be found in room 2.10 on the second floor.
Currently there is only one full time member of IT staff. The office is generally open between 8.00am and 5pm, Monday to Friday but not always manned. It is recommended that any requests for assistance are sent by email to computer.officer@crim.cam.ac.uk.
The Institute has 25 computer terminals available for use by students and visitors. 10 of these are deployed in the Radzinowicz Library, which are mainly intended for browsing the library catalogue. 5 machines are dedicated to use by Ph.D. Candidates in the PhD areas. 10 machines are for use by all in the basement. There is no access to or from the University’s Desktop Services/Managed Cluster Service (DS/MCS) Facility (formerly PWF facility)'.
