Library Services

Current services

To make our library services COVID-secure, we are operating fewer services, and the means of accessing them have changed. Please note, we do not currently offer a Scan & Deliver service. For the time being, we can only offer services to current students and staff of Cambridge University.

Working in the library: The library is not currently open for drop-in visits or general browsing. You can book a study space by visiting: https://calendars.libraries.cam.ac.uk/calendar/criminology
The system operates a waiting list when seats are fully booked. You will be able to borrow books during your time slot. Please note the conditions of entry:

Admittance to the library is by university card only. You must show your own current Cambridge University card to gain entry.

You are required to wear a face covering in the library at all times.

Click & Collect: You can order books by Click & Collect from:

https://cambridge.eu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_a9mrt2eNjwtTky1

This web form is shared with other libraries, so please ensure you select our library when ordering your books. The library will contact you with an appointment to collect your books, and books will be pre-issued before your arrival. You will need your university card to collect the books. If you are collecting books for someone else, we require an email from the borrower's Cambridge email account authorising you to do that before we release the books.

Borrowing

Borrowing is available to current students and staff of the University of Cambridge, including Visiting Scholars and Visiting Students.

Undergraduate students may borrow up to ten items for one week during term. During vacations, undergraduates may borrow up to ten items until the first day of the following term.
