Assistant Professor in Penology & Criminal Justice (Fixed term)

This is a full time, 12-month fixed term position, commencing 1st October 2025 (or as soon as possible thereafter). The appointee will cover the majority of Professor Ben Crewe's teaching, marking and supervisory duties on the MPhil in Criminology and contribute to the MSt in Applied Criminology, Penology and Management course whist he is engaged on a Leverhulme Research fellowship.

MPhil and PhD Programmes Administrator (maternity cover)

Working alongside another full time MPhil and PhD Programmes Administrator, you will be jointly responsible for the administrative support of the department's MPhil and PhD programmes (approx. 100 students), from initial point of student enquiry through to application and admission, induction, tracking of progress, assessment and final examination. Working under the direction of the Senior Graduate Coordinator, the role supports the Course Directors and Academics involved in MPhil and PhD course delivery.
