Saul Lehrfreund is the Co-Founder and Co-Executive Director of The Death Penalty Project, an international legal action charity based at Simons Muirhead & Burton LLP in London.
Since 1992, he has represented prisoners facing the death penalty in domestic courts across the Commonwealth and before international tribunals. He has contributed to global criminal justice reform through expert delegations to countries including Japan, China, Taiwan, and India. As a founding member of the UK Foreign & Commonwealth Office Pro Bono Panel, he supports British nationals at risk of execution abroad. He is also a Visiting Professor of Law at the University of Reading.
The event will be followed by a drinks reception. Attendance is free but registration is required.
