Laura holds an LL.B. with a minor in Criminal Justice and Human Rights from Maastricht University (NL), an MA (cum laude) in Global Criminology from Utrecht University (NL) and an MPhil in Criminological Research from the University of Cambridge.


Theories of power; crimes of the powerful; critical criminology; green criminology; feminist perspectives on criminology.


A qualitative, exploratory study of the police in Bogotà, Colombia. Supervised by Dr. Caroline Lanskey.
