Dr Mullen will be joining us in person for his talk on ‘What next for Probation? Learning from lived Experience’. He is Revolving Doors’ Research Manager and has several years’ experience conducting peer-led and participatory research alongside people with lived experience of multiple disadvantage. He played a key role in helping to facilitate the inquiry and in supporting our Probation Lived Experience Team to shape its direction. Philip will be joined in this seminar by two members of our Probation Lived Experience Team.
Professor Alec Buchanan (Professor of Psychiatry, Yale University) will be presenting this guest seminar.
Child murder by mothers, has occurred throughout history and around the world. Child murder by mothers includes maternal filicide, infanticide, and neonaticide. This presentation will review the motives for child murder by parents, as well as research data about this population. Infanticide laws will also be discussed, as will considerations for prevention.
