Katie is a PhD student based in the Centre for Analytic Criminology. She is supervised by Dr Kyle Treiber and Professor Per-Olof Wikström. She holds an MPhil in Criminological Research from the University of Cambridge and a BSocSc (Hons) in Criminology from City University of Hong Kong.
Research
Building on her MPhil research, Katie's PhD applies the framework of Situational Action Theory (SAT) to explore the moral education in Hong Kong and its impact on adolescents’ morality, which subsequently affects their involvement in criminal behaviours.
