Biography

Noemi is a Research Associate in Statistics at the Institute of Criminology, University of Cambridge. She was awarded her PhD in Statistics at the University of Padova, Italy and completed her bachelor and master studies in Statistics at the University of Bologna, Italy. Research

Noemi’s main research interests revolve around density-based clustering methods applied to complex data, such as categorical, mixed data types, and high-dimensional network data. She is passionate about applying new statistical methodologies in real-world applications and also she has a strong interest in latent variable models, Bayesian inference and computational statistics.
