Biography

Richard completed his MSt in Applied Criminology Police Management (Police Executive Programme) in 2022. His MSt disseration was on 'Targeting victims with crime prevention methods more effectively by using big data'. 

Research

  • Interests are crime prevention, fraud and online crime, use of big data to better understand and forecast victims of crime. 
  • His dissertation research will consider how to best message victims of fraud crimes by demographic to reduce repeat victimisation and encourage behavioural change.
