Institute of Criminology

The Institute is please to announce the second run of our PhD Conference, titles "Social Science Approaches to Crime, Harm and (In)Justice". The conference will take place on 22-23 April 2024 at the Institute of Criminology, University of Cambridge.

This conference is an excellent opportunity for PhD researchers to present their work in a supportive environment, and engage with (the work of) other scholars in criminology and related disciplines.

We invite submissions of abstracts that critically and creatively engage with themes of crime, harm and (in)justice. This includes empirical and theoretical contributions, methodological and ethical considerations, and implications of your research for policy and practice.

Abstracts should be no longer than 250 words and should include a title, author name(s), institutional affiliation(s), and contact email address. Please submit you abstracts to phdcrimconference2023@gmail.com or via a submission form on our website: https://sites.google.com/view/phdcrimconferencecambridge. Final deadline is March 15th.

We look forward to receiving your abstracts, and welcoming you to the Institute in due course.
