'The Everyday Experience of Probation Supervision'

This seminar draws on data from three research studies to describe and examine the everyday experience of probation supervision.  The context for the seminar is the mixed economy of probation provision, with services delivered by public sector agencies, voluntary sector organisations and private companies.  The seminar explores the interactions between supervisees, probation supervisors and workers from other agencies and offers a model that provides a visual illustration of this network of themes and players.  The seminar concludes with some observations about the current state of everyday probation supervision.

This seminar is open to all interested in attending, with no ticket required.
