About
Rhianna Dunkley is a Research Assistant on the Peterborough Adolescent and Young Adult Development Study (PADS+). She has a background in psychology with a focus on development and neurorehabilitation.
She graduated from the University of York with a BSc (Hons) in Psychology with a specialisation in Clinical Practice in 2023 before going on to complete a MSc in Development, Disorders and Clinical Practice in 2024. Recently, she has worked in collaboration with a family clinic in Ontario looking into parental experiences when seeking support for child speech and language development.
Previously, she has worked within schools delivering early interventions to support child development, as well as healthcare settings supporting adults following acquired brain injuries (ABI) through neurorehabilitation interventions. Her research interests more broadly include child emotional and social development within family research, and preventative research through early interventions of moral education and emotion regulation.
