The Institute hosts six highly productive research centres: the Prisons Research Centre , the Centre for Analytic Criminology , the Centre for Penal Theory and Penal Ethics , the Violence Research Centre , the Jerry Lee Centre for Experimental Criminology and the Justice and Society Research Centre .
