"Failing to integrate migrant teenagers: lessons from the International Self-Report Delinquency Study"
This seminar will examine the processes by which teenagers with migrant backgrounds are at risk of marginalisation and criminalisation. It applies procedural justice ideas to the International Self-Report Delinquency Study, a large survey of schoolchildren. The analysis focusses on England, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Scotland and the USA. It compares first and second generation migrant teenagers with non-migrants, differentiating between those from visible ethnic minorities and others.
Seminars generally take place in B3 from 5.30pm, with refreshments after for attendees
