Vincent Harinam

Vincent completed his BA and MA in Criminology at the University of Toronto. He then branched off to work with Canadian law enforcement as a consultant and then as a research associate at a US-based think tank.

Research Interests

Vincent’s current research interests lie predominantly in cybercrime, computational criminology, and statistical modelling. However, he often dabbles in spatial crime analysis, organized crime, and complex networks. His thesis centres around criminal networks on the dark web. To this extent, Vincent constructs dark web transactional networks then uses computer simulations to take them apart to understand their function and structural robustness
