WHAT DOES OUR TEAM DO?

From conducting fieldwork investigations and gathering, organising and critically analysing documents and records to conducting legal research, drafting letters, reports and submissions both to the client and others, our caseworkers carry out a variety of invaluable jobs. Their work is vital to maintain good client relationships and to delve into the details of the case- be it regarding a legal, evidentiary, or procedural matter.

WHO WE GIVE FREE ASSISTANCE TO

1. Prisoners who claim factual innocence, not procedural miscarriages of justice,
2. Who have exhausted the normal appeals process, and
3. Who have no legal representation, or whose solicitors have granted permission for us to assist.

HOW TO APPLY

The Innocence Project Cambridge cannot take on cases directly, thus applicants who maintain innocence for a criminal conviction should write directly to the Innocence Network UK for their case to be considered for referral to one of INUK’s member innocence projects.
